Fancy Text Generator
Type once and copy your text in more than a dozen Unicode styles — bold, italic, cursive, bubble, strikethrough, zalgo and more. Every style renders live, each has its own copy button, and nothing ever leaves your browser.
What is a fancy text generator?
A fancy text generator turns the plain letters you type into stylish-looking versions you can copy and paste anywhere. The important thing to understand is that these are not fonts. Instead of changing a typeface, the tool swaps each letter for a different Unicode character that happens to look bold, cursive, bubbled, or struck through. Because the style is baked into the characters themselves, it survives a copy-paste into places that have no rich-text formatting at all — an Instagram bio, a Discord username, a TikTok caption, or a tweet. It also means you cannot download these as a font file; there is nothing to install, you just copy the styled characters.
How to use it
- Type once into the box at the top.
- Every style renders live below it as you type — there is no Generate button.
- Find the look you like and tap Copy on that card.
- Paste it into your bio or post. One screen, no signup, the same on phone or laptop.
The styles explained
- Bold, italic, bold-italic and sans bold — clean emphasis for names and headers.
- Script and bold script — flowing cursive styles, hugely popular for aesthetic bios.
- Fraktur / gothic — an old blackletter look that reads as medieval and dramatic.
- Double-struck — hollow outline letters; monospace gives an even-width, code-style feel.
- Small caps turns lowercase into small capitals; bubble wraps each letter in a circle.
- Fullwidth / vaporwave spaces letters out; superscript shrinks them into tiny raised characters.
- Strikethrough and underline draw a line through or under every letter using combining marks.
- Upside-down rotates and reverses your text; wide simply adds room between letters.
- Zalgo (cursed / glitch) stacks many combining marks for a corrupted look — the density slider picks mini, normal, or max.
Where it works — and where it breaks
These styles work almost anywhere text is accepted: Instagram, X, TikTok, Discord, Twitch, WhatsApp, Telegram, and YouTube comments. But there are honest limits. Older phones and apps may show empty boxes for the newest Unicode blocks. Some platforms filter certain styles, and Instagram in particular strips zalgo and a few blocks, so always test by sending the text to yourself first. For the widest compatibility, stick to Bold, Italic, Script, Small Caps, or Monospace.
Accessibility — please use it responsibly
Screen readers read the underlying code points, not the visual style, so heavy styles — especially zalgo — turn into unreadable noise for blind and low-vision users. Styled text also is not searchable as normal letters. Use fancy text decoratively and sparingly — a name or a short line — never for essential information or whole paragraphs, and avoid zalgo anywhere everyone needs to read clearly.
Privacy
Everything is generated entirely in your browser. Your text is never uploaded, logged, or sent anywhere. There is no account and no tracking — you can confirm it by opening your browser's Network tab and watching nothing get sent.
Frequently asked questions
Is the fancy text free?
Yes. The generator is completely free with no signup and no limits — type as much as you like and copy any style you want.
Are these real fonts?
No. They are Unicode characters that look like styled letters, which is exactly why you can copy and paste them anywhere. There is no font file to download — the style is baked into the characters themselves.
Will it work on Instagram, TikTok and Discord?
Most styles work in any app that accepts text. A few platforms filter out the newest blocks, and Instagram in particular strips zalgo and some styles — test by sending the text to yourself first, and prefer Bold, Italic, Script, Small Caps or Monospace for the broadest support.
Why does some text show as boxes on my phone?
Your device or app does not yet support that newer Unicode block, so it shows an empty box instead of the glyph. Pick a more broadly supported style like Bold, Italic, Script, Small Caps or Monospace.
Is my text private?
Yes. Every style is generated entirely in your browser. Your text is never uploaded, logged, or sent to any server, and there is no account or tracking.
What is zalgo or cursed text?
Zalgo is normal letters with many stacked Unicode combining marks that give a corrupted, glitchy look. Use the density slider to choose mini, normal, or max intensity.
Is fancy text good for screen readers?
No. Screen readers read the underlying code points, so heavy styles — especially zalgo — become unreadable noise for blind and low-vision users. Use fancy text decoratively and sparingly, never for essential information.
